Beschreibung
Hier gibt es keine typische Rock-a-Billy Band zu hören, nur weil sCare-oline einen Upright-Bass und John Bates eine halbakustische Gretsch-Gitarre spielen, sondern Rock 'n' Roll, Blues und Punk verschmelzen zu einer ganz besonderen Sound-Mischung.
Sie wurde unter anderem so beschrieben: "With one foot in Memphis and the other on 42nd Street, BJB have punked out the Hotrod Blues and wrapped it up in a cabaret from Hell, a live spectacle featuring the one-and-only Voodoo Dollz Burlesque". Sounds aus den 50s/60s werden hier in eine moderne Form des ,Rock 'n' Roll-Exotica" gebracht. Einflüsse von Bands wie Cramps, Reverend Horton Heat, Social Distortion, Stray Cats, Tom Waits oder 16 Horsepower wirken in Geschichten über "Whiskey Goblins", "Murdercycles" oder "Skin & Guts".
